Hi, I am Jess, Principal Designer & Owner of Northway Design. Let me tell you a little bit about my background, I completed a Bachelor of Industrial Design (Product Design) where I developed a particular love for CAD (Computer-Aided-Drafting). This led me to a position as an Architectural draftsperson for the next 8 years on the Mornington Peninsula - not a huge leap as buildings are large products after all!

As a child I loved looking at hand-drawn building plans, there was an element of curiosity and wonder of the lives people had in these homes. So, as well as a very logical mind, I also have a very imaginative and creative side!

I came full circle, back to the path I believe I was meant to take, went back to study my Advanced Diploma in Building Design whilst working in the industry. I have over 20 years experience and for the last 12 years I have grown a thriving building design practice in Maffra, closer to my childhood town of Briagolong.

I enjoy focusing on client needs and support them through building design, consulting and permit advice so they can build desirable, valuable and memorable spaces.

I am an Accredited Building Practitioner with the Vicorian Building Authority (VBA), a member of Design Matters National and an NatHERS Accredited Thermal Performance Assessor.
