There was a clear vision to design a home with passive solar principles in this suburban neighbourhood. It was important to go above and beyond the requirements for energy efficiency. The design features a polished slab floor and internal bagged brickwork for thermal mass to help regulate the temperature. The colour scheme and textures in the interior design reflect the client’s aesthetics for a natural home for living a life of simplicity.
